The Skills You'll Need: Mandarin to native level, UK experience in Receptionist / Office Admin
Your New Salary: Up to £40k depending on experience
Job status: Permanent, 5 days in the office
Location: Central London

- can type simplified Chinese
- have Receptionist and/or Office Admin experience in the UK
- have working experience in corporate environments
- are willing to work 5 days in the office

What You'll be Doing Each Day:
Receptionist:
- Providing an efficient and effective reception service always aware that this is a front line role giving a 'first impression’ of the Bank to visitors.
- Meeting and greeting clients and visitors;
- Ensuring reception area neat and tidy appearance at all times;
- Ensuring switchboard is covered at all times;
- Handle inbound calls and enquiries;
- Accurate message taking, providing information and general assistance;
- Meet and greet clients, occupiers, visitors and contractors to the building;
- Acting as first point of contact for day to day issues;
- Manage meeting room bookings and prepare meeting rooms for meetings;
- Processing incoming and outgoing international and domestic post;
- Signing for and distributing deliveries, controlling outgoing deliveries;
- Making bookings for travelling, taxi’s, couriers, lunches, venues, restaurants etc;
- Liaison with Building Management & Security, controlling onsite contractors;
- Ordering office supplies/stationary/kitchen supplies/Marketing supplies;
- Control of ordering and invoicing;
- Manage social gatherings like staff birthdays and organise refreshments;
- Any ad hoc duties which can reasonably be carried out without compromising reception service;
- Office facility repair liaison, coordinated with IT Manager.
Admin:
- Manage records of Admin expenditure, invoices, settlements and reconcile monthly, dealing with payment enquiries;
- Prepare meeting agendas and supporting materials for distribution;
- Prepare meeting minutes as requested;
- Sense checking of documents and announcements, where appropriate;
- General administrative duties, word processing, filing, faxing;
- Any other ad hoc administrative duties.
The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:
- Spoken Mandarin to native level and can type simplified Chinese
- Relevant Receptionist or Admin experience in the UK
- Working experience in corporate environments
- Willing to work 5 days in the office
