Your New Job Title: Mandarin speaking Assistant Manager of Risk

The Skills You'll Need: Fluent in Mandarin and English, risk related working experience in banking/finance, with good excel knowledge.

Your New Salary: Depending on experience

Location: Central London

Job Overview:

• Direct reporting line to Chief Risk Officer ("CRO")
• Assist with post-loan credit management, market risk reporting and Operational risk analysis.
• Day-to-day reporting of risks within the Branch Risk Appetite and Risk Management Policies.

What You'll be Doing Each Day:

Risk Management Framework

• Assist with the development to enhance and embed the risk framework in order to deliver an effective risk management
• Provide input into the risk management Policies.

Systems & Controls

• Assist Risk Department in establishing effective systems and controls with policies and procedures to measure and report risks of the Branch.

Management Information

• Provide daily MI on the credit risk, market risk and liquidity risk of the Branch to the CRO
• Provide monthly MI on the credit risk, market risk and liquidity risk profile of the Branch to CRO.
• Assist with Middle Office functions for Financial Markets

Operational Risk - assist the Operational Risk Manager with risk analysis on the Branch operational risk, including:

• Monitor operational risk within the Branch risk appetite
• Assist with operational risk measurement and monitoring tools, including:

o Event log/Incident and Near Miss register;

o Ops Risk Dashboard and any operational risk losses;

o Departmental Risk & Control Self-Assessments;

o CNCB LB consolidated Risk & Control Self-Assessment;

o Manage Key Risk Indicators and trends that could identify risk; and Branch Risk Matrix

The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

• Able to identify, measure, mitigate, monitor and report credit risk, market risk and liquidity risk
• Able to prioritise multiple projects and deadlines
• Have strong attention to detail, and the ability to recognise and investigate reporting anomalies
