What You'll be Doing Each Day:

Assist the AVP of Corporate and Marketing to promote the brand image across the North West Region;

Effectively market and sale bank’s products and service, in particular focus on developing branch’s good quality corporate business, High Net Worth Clients including Private Banking Customer and Wealth Management Clients;

Overseeing all Corporate related business and associated risks and compliance issues; responsible for synergy between domestic branches and Manchester Branch in all way round whilst also undertaking other day to day operational tasks to assist the Branch Management in achieving all targets and objectives.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Implement Business &Commercial strategy under the guidance of CBD &TBD and Personal Business Development strategy under the guidance of PBD in London, fulfil all targets set out by the Bank
  • Develop new business opportunities within the existing Corporate and Personal clients base
  • Develop "new to bank" customers within defined selection criteria
  • Marketing and promote the Bank in the target local markets, establish and develop efficient professional network with local professionals (accountants, solicitors, and etc) and trade counsels/associations such as CBBC, UKTI etc,
  • To build and maintain strong relationships with customer such as Chinese "going out" companies /Embassy and their Senior executive staff, Embassy staff/Private Banking/HNW/Wealth Management/student clients
  • Responsible for corporate clients inquiries, creating and implementing customer contact strategy, identifying potential opportunities, sales and implementing marketing strategies, proposing annual renewal/ new credit applications, and developing long term relationships with corporate customer
  • Maintain corporate client relationship including senior executive staff of the business by cross-selling relevant personal products and services suit customer need, ensure all business conduct in line with relevant bank’s policies and procedures/guidance requirements
  • Interview and open business account for potential client, conduct and fulfil KYC and KYB obligations to meet bank’s prevention of ML and CTF requirements
  • Conduct post-lending management
  • Feedbacks and recommendations are highly encouraged and valued on how to improve our B&C business and Personal business.
  • Liaise with London and domestic network to support the development of the business for the Group’s existing and target clients.
  • Responsible for branch CRR review for corporate clients especially for CRR risk rating of D/E clients
  • Responsible for Corporate Real time AMLMAS, SironAML, Fairs related to assigned customer group.
  • To report monthly corporate business performance figures directly to the branch manager.
  • Answering incoming telephone calls and customer telephone enquiries
  • Work on Sunday when needed
  • To ensure that all activities comply with compliance requirements as defined in bank policies and procedures
  • To comply with the CBD & TBD and all other banking Departments procedures and policies manual at all times
  • To undertake additional duties delegated by branch manager when needed

The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Degree educated within a Finance related field (Finance, Economics, Accounting, Marketing or MBA)
  • Solid work experience in Corporate business and marketing
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical and negotiation skills with the ability to transform problems into a workable solution within a business context
  • Adaptable to changing circumstances and new information that impacts goals and plans. Can play several different roles simultaneously according to the specific situation.
  • Proactive with strong commitment to develop and contribute.

Job status: Permanent

Start date: ASAP

Working hours: Full time office/branch based, including some Sundays on a rota basis.
