Receptionist - What You'll be Doing:

  • Answering and forwarding calls coming through switchboard in a professional manner, taking messages when necessary;
  • Greeting clients and visitors, notifying appropriate parties of their arrival;
  • Managing inbound and outbound posts;
  • Hotel reservations and transportation arrangement;
  • Ordering and maintaining office supplies and maintenance;
  • Providing support to repair and maintenance of office equipment;
  • Liaising with 3rd party suppliers and maintaining strong relationships
  • Complying with expense claim process to arrange all office related invoice payments;
  • Regular checking and maintaining all office related inventories and admin trackers;
  • Working with Finance department to managing office asset log; 
  • Assisting new staff on-boarding and checking out process;
  • Providing office administrative support in the areas of procurement, report preparation and staff communication, when necessary; 
  • Coordinate internal event logistics and team building activities throughout the year
  • Other duties assigned by the company

Receptionist - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Experience of managing reception desk and office administration work is desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is desirable 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good attention to detail skills, work requires little or no checking
  • Professional and proactive working attitude with ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Self-motivated, reliable, dedicated and flexible
  • Well organised with good time management skills
  • Good PC skills, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with the financial services industry
  • Event management experience
  • Relevant H&S qualifications is desirable
  • Experience of managing small projects
