Title: Japanese Speaking Energy Market Analyst

Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum (depending on experience and working hours)

Location: London *Hybrid working available (2 days WFH per week after the probation period)

Job status: Temporary position (Leave cover): mid-April 2026 – mid-February 2027

Working hours: 35 hours per week 

Start date: Mid-April 2026

Japanese Speaking Energy Market Analyst - Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research and analysis related to the energy sector in Europe, under instruction, to support business strategy planning and development.
• Collect market information through monitoring political and energy-related news as well as investment project developments.
• Prepare reports and draft materials for submission to the head office in Japan.
• Analyse energy policy developments in major European countries.
• Monitor strategic and business developments of major European energy companies.
• Research trends in specific areas related to decarbonisation.

Japanese Speaking Energy Market Analyst - Requirements:

• Recent professional work experience.
• Business-level Japanese and conversational-level English.
• Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience in the energy sector is welcome but not essential.
• A reliable, flexible individual who can handle a variety of tasks.
