Job Title: Japanese speaking Business Assistant
Your New Salary: £20.00 to £24.50 depending on experience
Hybrid - 3 days office, 2 days remote
Temporary with potential for Permanent
Start: ASAP
Working hours: 9-5
Japanese speaking Business Assistant - What You'll be Doing:
- Support department GM and front sales, undertaking clerical work necessary for daily department business. Scheduling, booking/reservation, payment, expense claim, checking accounting ledgers, internal reporting, managing general affairs, etc.
- Communicating and negotiating with clients by telephone or emails, acting with responsibility following instruction from front sales staff
- Perform safe delivery & documentation for export and import under the regulations and the rules.
- Communicate with clients and suppliers to ensure contractual commitments are fulfilled.
- Check and create shipping documents (invoice, bill of lading, air waybill, insurance certificate, inspection certificate, etc.)
Japanese speaking Business Assistant - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:
- Experience working in a multinational trading environment in a client facing support role.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Japanese.
- Numerical and analytical skills.
- Basic financial and accounting knowledge.
- Knowledge of import and export trading procedure
- Ideal candidate should have proficient in Japanese, as the role involves frequent liaison with Japan HQ. (JLPT N1/ N2 level)
