Assistant Mortgage Administration - What You'll be Doing:

  • Monitor and follow up with customers for overdue mortgage payments, ground rent and management fees whilst recording the correct performing status of loans
  • Monitor the daily retail mortgage payment report to process interest adjustment when required
  • Process drawdown, collateral and repayment information in relevant system for retail mortgage business
  • Reconcile overdue interest and make adjustment for retail mortgage
  • Review legal and loan documents and approvals before drawdown for retail mortgage
  • Send repayment notice to customers in a timely manner
  • Take and release title deeds and other securities and maintain the safe keeping of security documents
  • Analyse facility limit and resolve issues with branches prior to drawdown
  • Ensure operations risks are minimised in relation to daily transactions
  • Investigate and respond to customer queries in relation to retail mortgage
  • Monitor repayment funds via GUPP and suspense account
  • Prepare an annual and interim mortgage statement
  • Prepare SWIFT in GUPP for the retail mortgage drawdown
  • Liaise with relevant external stakeholders as required

Assistant Mortgage Administration - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Degree educated in Business, Finance or Accounting
  • Proven track record in similar business stream
  • Good experience of retail mortgage products and processing
  • Good knowledge of regulatory requirements for retail mortgage
  • Excellent numerical skills
  • Commercial awareness
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly in the use of MS Excel
  • Team player with ability to work independently
  • Excellent English and Mandarin communication skills
