Job Title: Trading Assistant (Food)

Your New Salary: £31,000 – £34,000

Permanent, Full time

Start: ASAP

Location: London (Based during probation period. Up to 2 days working from home and 3 days working in the office after probation.)

Hours of Work: Monday – Friday 8:30AM – 4:30PM or 9:00AM – 5:00PM

*This role involves 2 weeks overtime working until 7.00PM per month when covering the Future order execution (up to approximately 20 hours per month). This role involves working from 8am to 4pm on Japanese bank holidays to cover operational requirements . Additional hours as required by the needs of the business.  

Trading Assistant (Food) - What You'll be Doing:

• Handle administrative jobs for future operations and general administrative jobs for the cocoa/sugar/coffee department (Future market orders)
• Settle liquidation for placing future orders for cocoa/sugar/coffee
• Handle margin money to be completed in the morning on a daily basis
• Carry out margin money management and monthly reconciliation between the broker's statement and SAP balance

Trading Assistant (Food) - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

• English business fluent (written and spoken)
• Strong computer skills - Outlook, Word, Excel, SAP (advantage)
• Physical shipments experience
• Numeral accuracy
