Your New Job Title: Mandarin speaking Accounting Officer (Banking), London

The Skills You'll Need: Native level of Mandarin and fluent English, UK Accounting experience in Banking / Finance / Big 4 sector

Your New Salary: £50-55k depending on experience

Job status: Permanent. Hybrid working, with 4 days in the office

Summary:

• Supporting the Finance Department with day-to-day processing demands, regulatory information, reporting and maintenance of the finance records

What You'll be Doing:

• Purchase Ledger processing, invoices / credits / payments;
• Responsible for the Head Office audit liaison and to prepare necessary material for audit;
• Prepare bank nostro reconciliation on termly basis;
• Following up on outstanding items on daily Nostro Reconciliations;
• Fixed Asset record maintenance;
• Handling incoming finance telephone queries including from creditors;
• Assisting with preparing reports ( MI & Head Office & Regulatory report if necessary );
• Handling external auditor’s queries on clients
• Review internal system, produce reports and investigate any suspense and unusual items;
• Responsible for journal input and expenses;
• Relative accounting reconciliation To assist with regulatory reporting submissions;
• Filing, record keeping, general admin; and
• Ad-hoc finance or clerical duties as required.

The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

• Spoken and written Mandarin to native level, with fluent English;
• Previous Accounting experience in Banking / Finance / Big 4 sector;
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and team working skills;
• Excellent level of working knowledge in MS Excel;
• Familiarity with Banking Regulatory reports and asset & liability analysis
• ACCA qualified or part qualified is desirable
