To be successful in this role our client has said it is essential that candidates:

  • are fluent in Mandarin
  • have compliance experience in banking

What You'll be Doing:

  • Identifying the regulatory risks that the Branch faces;
  • The design and implementation of the policies and procedures, systems and controls that constitute the Compliance Programs and their related activities designed to prevent unethical, or improper conduct;
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of those systems and controls;
  • The provision of training and guidance to management and employees;
  • Other duties as assigned by the Head of Compliance.

The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • A Bachelor degree or above, ideally of a legal or business related educational background;
  • 5 years’ experience in a compliance role within the financial industry is preferred;
  • Experience in contract law will be beneficial;
  • Bilingual proficiency in both English and Chinese Mandarin will be an advantage;
  • Team working;
  • An eye for detail;
  • Deadline driven and ability to work under pressure;
  • Excellent communication and inter-cultural skills.
