What You'll be Doing:

Product setting

• Based on marketing research, clients’ demographics and LPs pricing, select the right trading instruments for clients.
• Work with product team to set up the suitable trading rules and parameters in the system.
• Monitor clients’ trading behaviour and LPs offering, mitigate risk and increase profitability.
• Improve the trading instruments selection as well as the commercial settings to the clients.
• Manage the company’s risk exposure and ensure that the company is within the mandated risk limits.

Client management/analysis

• Analyse clients’ trading behaviour and set the rules to manage the trading books.
• Conduct various P/L monitoring checks on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Identify dubious or toxic client activities such as latency trading, counter account trading or high position risk, and act accordingly.
• Manage company accounts with liquidity providers.
• Monitor the risk exposure as well as the margin requirements.
• Monitor the pricing from LPs and change the pricing on daily basis accordingly.
• Maintain the relationship with LPs, keep monitoring the price of the LPs’ offering and alert the clients in time when there is any change.

Reporting

• Work closely with compliance team to provide trading data to the regulatory authorities.
• Work closely with financial team for the reconciliation of the trading data and trading audit.
• Help marketing team and support their marketing campaign by giving them feedback from risk management perspective.
• Work with tech team closely to automate the work and improve the work efficiency as well as accuracy.

The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

• 2:1 or better in numerate degrees
• 3-5 years risk or trading experience in CFD trading industry, understanding of VaR, risk sensitivity, risk limits and derivatives.
• Knowledge of derivative financial instruments.
• Good interpersonal skills in both written and verbal communication.
• Mandarin speakers preferred.
• Knowledge of pricing and risk modelling would be a bonus.
• Strong excel skills an advantage.
