As a Mandarin speaking Accounts Assistant - What You'll be Doing Each Day:

The principal role is to assist the Head / Deputy Head of Department to provide financial analysis, reporting, and strategic guidance to support the management / front office departments in making informed decisions and achieving the Branch’s financial objectives by optimizing resource allocation, managing costs, and mitigating financial risks.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial plans and budgets;
  • Prepare financial data analysis reports, monitor key performance indicators, and highlight financial trends, variances, and areas for improvement;
  • Assist in financial feasibility studies, investment evaluations, and strategic decision-making process;
  • Share the periodic and one-off Head Office reporting responsibilities;
  • Provide support to the control of operating expenses through reviewing and preparing expense reimbursements and invoice processing upon approvals. Support expense monitoring and control efforts, ensuring adherence to budgets and financial targets;

As a Mandarin speaking Accounts Assistant - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Part-qualified with 1-3 years of practical experience in accounting/auditing/financial management/ related to the banking or financial service industry;
  • Fluent in English and Chinese;
  • A Bachelor’s degree or above, ideally with an accounting background;
  • Experience in major accounting software and regulatory reporting software will be preferred;
  • Microsoft office proficiency, knowledge of Power BI is advantageous.
