Your New Job Title: German or French speaking Merchandising Manager

Location: Not necessarily based in UK, but they need to manage the showroom in London and keep presentation materials at their home office. Remote working or WFH is considered.

Status: Permanent

Who you'll be working for: Our client is a global textile and apparel manufacturer.

To be successful in this role our client has said it is essential that candidates: 

  • are fluent in both German/French and English
  • have Sales & Marketing experience in Accessories, Trims and Packaging Material
  • have Bachelor degree or above
  • are happy to travel 50% of the time to Europe

Merchandising Manager - What You'll be Doing Each Day:

  • Customers' relationship management
  • Required to prepare Market research and EU market study on a regular basis to provide brands' and market updates to the team
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills to build relationship and partnership with people at different level in organizations
  • Extensive travel in UK/Europe Sense of urgency and high degree of professionalism is required (50% of the time)
  • Required to prepare Market research and EU market study on a regular basis to provide brands' and market updates to the team

Merchandising Manager - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Multi-lingual, Fluent in English and German or French.
  • Bachelor degree or above
  • Solid Sales & Marketing experience in Accessories, Trims and Packaging Material
  • Explore new customers to build and penetrate strong sales presence in European market
  • Aggressive, Proactive, Self motivated, Business driven and Results Oriented
  • Strong sales skills with proven track record of achieving goals and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent networking skills with extensive networking in Apparel, Accessories, Trims and Packaging field would be an advantage
  • Ability to develop and implement Sales strategy and Business plan for EU market to align with company's growth plan and business goals
