Your New Job Title: Mandarin OR Cantonese speaking Senior System Administrator

The Skills You'll Need: Fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese), solid System Administration experience.
Your New Salary: Depending on experience
Location: Central London

What You'll be Doing Each Day:

• VMware administration including host installation and configuration.
• Storage related administration and maintenance.
• System administration, performance tuning, monitoring, maintaining fault tolerance, account management for internal and AD domain environment.
• OS and applications installation, support, performance tuning, monitoring, applying service packs, etc.
• End user support for system infrastructure (server and network).
• Maintain and support backups for servers and clients.
• Participate in long-term strategies for IT.
• Receiving, racking, cabling and installation of new systems to be built and put into service
• On-call as needed to aid the team.
• Assist in planning, coordinating, and consulting with vendors and clients for hardware/software purchases, product services, and support.
• Other duties as assigned by the head of IT team.

The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

• A bachelor's degree or above, extensive System Administration experience, covering Windows/Linux/Network/Storage.
• Expert Server related technology (e.g., VMWare, RAID, Backups, SAN, etc.).
• Networking and security related skills (e.g., routing/switching, firewalls, ips, wlan, etc.).
• Experience with performance monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Scripting (e.g., vbs/ps) and/or automation skill.
• Working knowledge of implementation and management of cloud-based servers and networks.
• Experience with delivering IaaS/PaaS solutions with an infrastructure focus.
• MCP/VMWARE VCP/EMCST/CCIP/CCIE/HCIP/HCIE preferred.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Highly organised, able to multi-task, the ability to work individually, within a team, and with other groups.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written across all user levels.
• Fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese).
