Who You'll Be Working for: Trading, imports and exports business

What You'll be Doing Each Day: 

Day-to-day insurance operations for existing and new business 
  • Deal with general enquiries and questions from Business Departments, other Corporate Departments, and Group Companies.
  • Analyse basic contracts and insurance policies from an insurance risk management point of view, identifying liability/indemnity in contracts, insurable risks, insured risks. Make suggestions regarding optimal terms and conditions in contracts and insurance program.
  • Take initiative and having discussions with the Related Parties upon the annual renewal of insurance programs.
  • Handle and support insurance claims if accidents are encountered.
  • Based on historical claims data across multi insurance lines, support risk survey and loss prevention processes for existing and new business.

 

Relationship management with insurers and insurance brokers 

  • Maintain and strengthen the strategic mutually beneficial relationships with dominant insurers and insurance brokers to secure and expand the insurance capacity with competitiveness and stability.
  • Organise meetings, courtesy visits, business dining, and other business events from senior management requests and DGM instruction.
  • Access insurance market with progressive spirit, capture a trend of the market, recognise a risk appetite of insurer, summarise and share with Related Parties, Insurance Group and regional offices.

  

The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Experience working as an account executive or consultant for clients within an insurance broker
  • have experience in major insurance lines such as marine cargo/stock, property, liability insurance
  • Professional qualification in an insurance business area (such as ACII, or Cert CII)
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Information sharing, consulting and reporting
  • Negotiation skills
  • Proactive and confident self-starter
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction 

Job status: Full-time, Permanent

Start date: ASAP

Working hours: 35 hours
