Start date: ASAP

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week

Who You'll Be Working for:

International chemicals trader.

What You'll be Doing Each Day:

A procurement role has emerged to maintain, develop & grow an existing supplier portfolio to support the global sales team. The person will be responsible for communicating with suppliers, updating them with provided market feedback, requesting quotations, negotiating buying prices, processing orders, sharing information & general market analysis. Research will play a key part.

  • Maintain existing & growing supplier base
  • Liaise with procurement team advising market data
  • Providing offers to sales team
  • Growing company globally
  • Support staff located in London as well as overseas subsidiaries
  • Small growing procurement team.
  • Potential to develop own portfolio of products
  • Training where necessary both inhouse & external
  • Scope to develop existing products into new markets

The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Experience within trading environment is advantageous
  • Knowledge of international trade payments & Incoterms would be preferred
  • Possibility of travel
  • Have excellent communication skills & can work as part of a team.
