Your New Chinese Job Title: Mandarin Cantonese Spkg Relationship Manager (Wealth Management), London

The Skills You'll Need: Good client relationship management experience in private banking, preferably in Hong Kong, Cantonese and Mandarin fluent is desired

Your New Salary: £35k to £45k + very good bonus

What You'll be Doing Each Day:

  • Working with other members of the team to ensure the highest degree of client satisfaction is met
  • Maintain the highest standard to ensure quality and compliant on-boarding and ongoing monitoring of client relationships.
  • Up to date regulatory knowledge that will apply to your clients and their wealth
  • Ensure all KYC, AML and other Compliance screenings are adhered to
  • To be responsible for assessing risk tolerance and investment suitability of each client and marketing appropriate products and services
  • Travelling on a regular basis to meet with the HNW/UHNW clients

The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Excellent communication in both Chinese and English
  • Good experience working as a private banker and/ or relationship manager for Chinese HNW/UHNW Clients (on-shore and off-shore)
  • Candidates with existing client base preferred
  • Passion for wealth management and have sound knowledge of global financial markets and current affairs
  • Proven track record of client acquisition and maintaining excellent relationships with new and existing customers
  • Strategic thinker, be proactive and act as an entrepreneur to increase the firm’s exposure within the target market, carrying out business development and networking to identify new areas for growth and client acquisition.
  • Going to networking events on a regular basis to engage with potential HNW/UHNW clients
  • A team player with the highest professional work ethic and standards who is decisive, innovative and able to cope under pressure
  • Qualified to RDR level 4 and CF30 preferred
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to plan and prioritise workloads
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint

Job status: Permanent

Start date: ASAP

Working hours: 9 to 5
