Your New Mandarin Job Title: Mandarin Chinese speaking Senior Account Manager - PR & Events, London

The Skills You'll Need: Fluent in Mandarin and English, B2B services experience between the UK and China, and B2B digital events/PR experience.

Your New Salary: £30,000 + bonus scheme

Location: London (Working from home during Covid)

About the Role:

To be engaged both in the sales and delivery for international PR projects. To generate and lead on PR projects and events, building the team in line with growth targets.

To be successful in this role our client has said it is essential that candidates have/are:

  • are fluent in Mandarin Chinese
  • have working experience in B2B services between the UK and China
  • have working experience in B2B digital events/PR

What You'll be Doing Each Day:

  • Produce proposals/quotations in line with client’s brief
  • Manage suppliers and partners in pitching and delivering projects
  • Conduct research for proposals as the project requires
  • Lead the PR team to project manage timeline, quality and budget as agreed with the client
  • Have a proven track record of delivering projects from start to finish and working across various internal and external teams and stakeholders
  • Adept at management differences between stakeholders opinions differ
  • Develop relations with media outlets in China and the UK

The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Work experience in B2B services between the UK and China
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering B2B digital events/live-streams to diverse audience segments
  • Skilled in video production and live-streaming technologies, best practices and delivery procedures
  • Proven track record of new business development
  • Project management, budgeting and risk management experience
  • Ability to engage media and reporters and to understand how to pitch stories/opportunities to relevant media resources
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute positively and proactively within a team
  • Ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with people from other cultures
  • Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • An excellent grasp of English and Chinese (written and spoken)
