Japanese speaking Job-English to Japanese Translator/ Transcreation

Location:                      Cambridge, UK 
Who You'll Be Working for: Localization company. This is office based job. No Working from Home. 

What You'll be Doing Each Day:

·You will be involved in translating product descriptions, training materials, website content, banners, taglines, marketing copy, user interfaces and operating instructions for lifestyle clients (mainly fashion and beauty, but also household goods, etc.).
·You need to be creative and thrive on the fast-pace of fashion and client demands, and be able to competently handle a variety of linguistic tasks: translating, reviewing, post-editing, updating glossaries, creating style guides, coming up with slogans and with attractive texts that will appeal to your culture.

The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:
·Japanese mother-tongue level with excellent English
·Translation/Transcreation/ localization/ copywriting experience in Fashion and Lifestyle
·Ability to write fluently in a style and register adapted to the target audience
·Preferably with a degree in Translation, languages or Journalism
·Have previous experience in a role as a Translator (not Interpreter).
·Experience with CAT tools
·Ability to produce excellent translations even under time pressure
·Ability to think outside the box, Flexibility and a positive attitude
·Good time management
