About This Role:

To develop, initiate, maintain and revise policies, guideline and procedures to be in compliance with relevant Banking Regulations.

REPORT TO: Assistant Compliance Officer

What You'll be Doing Each Day:

  • Ensure bank’s ongoing compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.

  • Perform Customer Due Diligence Checking & other statutory requirements when a new client on-board /perform periodic review / trigger event.

  • Perform On-going transaction monitoring and report unusual activity to MLRO

  • Administering reports to comply with procedures and regulations.

  • To assist to develop, initiate, maintain and revise guideline and procedures to be in compliance with relevant Banking Regulations.

  • Ensure any mergers run smoothly in relation to AML requirements.

  • Answer daily AML queries via email and telephone.

  • Monitoring of AML online training to ensure completion by required colleagues.

  • Researching various websites for money laundering updates.

  • Carrying out administrative duties as required by your Supervisor / Manager.

The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Relevant industry experience, ideally with a relevant qualification

  • Well-organized personality with attention to details

  • Good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese

  • Conversant with MS Word, Excel and Chinese Word processing
