Status: Permanent

Location: Central London


Provide critical administrative, operational, analytical and informational support for the Carrier sales team to improve the productivity, effectiveness, efficiency of sales activity for the Carrier Wholesale Market - Data Business.

Data Products: EPL/IPLC, MPLS, ICT, SD-WAN, Cloud Connect, IPT, IDC, A2P, IOT, Devices

New products: Mobility services (IPX, Clearing), Smart Power Solution

What you'll be doing each day:

Stage 1 of the Sales Support:

  • Understand the customer enquiry, obtain internal answers needed, and formulate the proposal. Processes include:
  • Record cases in ERP system and keep updating when necessary
  • Register new Prospects and keep an clean-updated records of client/prospect list
  • Learn the products, understand what internal and external support is needed to sell each individual products
  • Liaise with internal Departments to obtain necessary answers to formulate the quote
  • Proposal creation and send to client (within 2 days if standard, prior to deadline if there is one)
  • Priorities any urgent case

Stage 2 of the Sales Support:

  • Monitor and follow -up offers and projects; Obtain Sales Manager attention on key issues/progress in order to finalise the Sales. Processes includes:
  • Monitor and seek client’s feedback if there is none
  • Follow -up quotes when changes are requested
  • Understand Clients urgencies
  • Obtain Sales Manager attention if any key issues
  • Shortlist key cases for weekly review with Sales Manager
  • Support Sales Manager with Orderform creation and internal approvals
  • Update ERP with lost cases and reasons

Stage 3 of the Sales Support:

  • After Sales Support. Processes includes:
  • Handover the project and signed order to delivery teams, explaining the case
  • Introduce Project Manager to the client
  • Monitor deliveries and escalated to Sales Manager if any potential issues
  • Inform the Sales Managers if any changes on the order might occur during or after delivery
  • Monitor expired contracts and inform Sales Manager for possible renewals
  • Provide customer service functions under the guidance of sales directors or managers
  • Take client calls
  • Keeping continuous contact with clients (via email, calls)
  • Inform clients of prices changes - A2P Messaging
  • Help organizing meetings and manage the Sales Manager diary in preparation of the major industry events

Legal and finance support including:

FINANCE: monitor clients payment issues and inform the Sales Manager if there is a coming escalation

LEGAL: monitor MSA negotiation progress and support Sales Manager to obtain external and internal feedback

The skills you need to succeed:

  • Sales support, operation or customer facing experience in Wholesale Carrier in Telecom industry is essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Potential and ambition to do Business Development / Sales as this role will be trained to become a Sales
  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • Excellent Microsoft Office and database administration skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal and teamwork skills
