Who You'll Be Working for: A well-established Chinese company's overseas branch

 

About the job:

  • Work as part of the Sales and Marketing team based in London.

  • Responsible for identifying and developing new business within the e-commerce sector, as well as managing existing customers.

  • Travel across the UK to meet customers and occasionally travel to other European countries.

  • Maximise sales and improve brand awareness. 

  • Demonstrate a proven track record in field sales and account management.

 

What You'll be Doing Each Day:

  • Managing existing portfolio of e-commerce customers.

  • Identifying and on-boarding of new e-commerce customers.

  • Achieving the revenue targets and job specific objectives effectively.

  • Working across all functions to provide value-added solutions to the marketplace.

  • Providing industry insights to the Marketing Executive to support marketing activities across the region.

  • Supporting the wider Sales and Marketing team in the Netherlands and Germany to help securing e-commerce business.

  • Attending relevant industry events to raise brand awareness and develop new business.

  • Ensuring all data is processed in accordance with GDPR.

  • Assisting ad-hoc projects and analysis as may reasonably be required.

 

The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Full driving license for the UK.           

  • Knowledge of the e-commerce supply chain

  • Ability to build relationships at multi-level within a business.

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) in English and Chinese.

  • Ability to influence and negotiate at senior level within a business.                        

  • Ability to prioritise a varied workload and meet demanding deadlines.      

  • Knowledge of customs regulations from Europe to China.

  • Sales and business development experience

 

Job status: Permanent

Start date: ASAP

Working hours: 9 to 6
