Japanese Speaking Strategy & Business Development - Responsibilities:

Strategy Planning & Management

  • Support projects related to the mid-term management plan, contributing to corporate value enhancement.
  • Plan, coordinate, and drive transformation initiatives in Europe, including organizational development, business development, talent development, and talent utilization.
  • Monitor and lead managerial issues across the European organization.

Project Management

  • Ensure project goals are achieved and aligned with objectives.
  • Prepare project initiation documents, detailed plans, and progress reports.
  • Coordinate effective meetings, follow up on decisions, and propose corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage stakeholder communications and respond to change requests.

Business Development & Transformation Support

  • Assist in preparing documentation for investment decisions.
  • Support business development, M&A processes, and marketing activities as required.

Japanese Speaking Strategy & Business Development - Requirements:

Essential 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, project management, or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in strategic planning, consultancy, or project management in a multinational environment
  • Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work within budgets, analyse numerical data, and make cost-effective decisions
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive)
  • Experience preparing reports and presentations for diverse audiences
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Japanese
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Reliable team player committed to achieving objectives
  • Skilled at building strong relationships internally and externally

Desirable

  • Knowledge of the shipping or logistics industry
  • Experience in project management or corporate transformation projects
  • Strong presentation design and delivery skills
