Job Title: Cargo Traffic Agent

Your New Salary: £26,772 - £31,848 per annum depending on experience. All inclusive. The higher salary will be offered to those who do not need training and are able to perform the role straight away.

 2-year Fixed Term Contract with a potential to be extended depending on business and performance.

 Start ASAP

 Working place:  Heathrow, Hounslow, Middlesex.

 Working hours: Working on a roster basis with a combination of early and late shifts. Hours of business are but not fixed from 0500-2100. Shifts including weekends and bank holidays.

Cargo Traffic Agent- What You'll be Doing:

• To provide good support to the cargo traffic staff, this will include Import’s document handling, Cargo spot data processing. Dealing with agent inquiries, following processes for damaged cargo, dangerous goods acceptance (after training)
• Complying with cargo acceptance procedures which involve good communication to customers and authorities.
• Flight arrival handling and document of ImportCargo management.
• Working to deadlines and following set procedures in all aspects of preparing flights to enable safe operation. (Weight management & dangerous goods compliance including segregation)
• Eventually to be trained to check acceptance of documents and freight for dangerous goods.

Cargo Traffic Agent- The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

• Current full driving license
• Previous experience as cargo agent
• Able to understand and follow manuals when required
• Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
• Good PC/ IT skills
