Your New Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator (Beverages)

Job status: Maternity Cover - One Year Contract

Start date: ASAP

Working hours: Monday to Friday 9.30am - 5.30pm

Your New Salary: c£30-35k

Location: Working from home initially and then based in East London

Who You'll Be Working for:

High quality drinks company who have been operating for over 25 years championing ethical trading policies.

What You'll be Doing Each Day:

To support the Operations Manager and co-ordinating the activities of our supply chain and its partners, optimising the company’s efficiency and working capital whilst maintaining the service levels demanded by our customers

  • Co-ordinate stock requirement to ensure continuity of supply and budget KPIs met

  • Manage the day to day stock replenishment for all warehouses

  • To place Purchase Orders according to the purchasing schedule, customer demand or end of month process

  • To monitor the Purchase Order until goods are delivered as per order requirements

  • Co-ordinating with partners ensuring that the stock meets the quality and delivery standard required

  • Managing, checking and authorising all relevant documentation such as invoices and certificates ensuring full traceability of the products and adhering to Fairtrade and Organic standards

  • Updating stock management systems, ensure processes are documented and kept up to date

  • Understand and analyse trends to challenge and influence the commercial team

  • Driving continuous improvement across the wider supply chain

  • Preparation of presentations, reporting and analysis

  • Monthly reconciliation, Intrastat, KPIs and service level reports

The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Logistics/supply chain operational experience essential

  • Ideally from a food/FMCG background

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and good overall computer skills

  • SAP experience a plus

  • Knowledge of import/export procedures desirable

  • Analytical, numerical and have strong communication skills at all levels

  • Have the ability to work under pressure, maintaining accuracy and keeping to deadlines

  • Be driven to add value to the supplier relationship and driven by commercial business return

  • Ability to deal with difficult situations in a calm and efficient manner

  • Ability to combine commercial needs of business with its ethical mission

  • Curious in nature and always looking to question, learn, and look for better ways to do things

  • Relish working in a small company with a diverse and fast paced environment.
