The Company

An established drinks importer with a major reach in the UK market operating within retail and wholesale.

The Role

Managing a team of five you will be responsible for analysing and managing stock levels in the business based on sales activity. You will ensure that stockholding and availability targets are met and will communicate stock information between suppliers, customers and internal departments. You will also be responsible for managing freight tenders and chasing shipments to ensure order fulfillment.

The Person

You will have a background in demand planning and experience of inventory control. You will come from a supply chain background and will ideally have knowledge of shipping and logistics. You will have excellent teamworking skills, the ability to work under pressure and you will have strong IT skills. Ideally you will have wine knowledge and you will have managed a team previously.
