The Company:

Successful food business.

The Role:

You will maintain and continually refine the company's QA system and ensure that products purchased, received & packed are safe, legal and comply with our specifications.

You will be responsible for supplier approval for new and current suppliers as well as quality control in terms of food content, packaging and labelling. You will deal with product returns and customer complaints as well as looking at product development including working on product specifications and non-conforming goods.

The Person:

You will have experience in the food industry having worked in roles such as food technologist or food engineer. You should be BRC third auditor trained or have worked to ISO standards. Furthermore you will have experience with writing specifications, responding to customer complaints and supplier audits. Ideally you will have a food science degree.
