Matthew at People First SUPPLY CHAIN

Matt’s business degree and previous work experience within the supply chain and logistics function, mean that he is uniquely placed to understand the technical requirements of our clients and candidates.  Matt understands his candidates’ aspirations and will only promote roles which are appropriate for them.  Matthew has found the perfect way to combine his interest in people with his love of the supply chain function.

Matt has quite an impressive claim to fame.  The band members of Oasis were once lured back to his parents’ house by his sister and friends with the promise of a party. On finding no party, the band decided to help themselves to Matt’s father’s best wine, only to be interrupted by Matt’s Dad, mid swig!  Although keen to throw the boys out, luckily Matt’s Dad restrained himself; a good move considering the band’s penchant for a bust up!
When not rubbing shoulders with popstars, Matt is a big fan of Portsmouth football team. He is also a film buff and enjoys a good film at his local cinema. He also has a rather unusual middle name...

Sheila at People First SUPPLY CHAIN

What Sheila doesn’t know about recruitment isn’t worth knowing!  With over 20 years’ experience, Sheila has handled both temporary and permanent recruitment within a variety of sectors, including HR, Finance, Banking, Accounting and Commercial, specialising most recently in Logistics, Procurement and Supply Chain.  Sheila is responsible for People First’s executive level Supply Chain, Procurement and Logistics positions, where her enthusiasm and warmth has gained her a vast array of candidate and client contacts, who rely on her expert knowledge of this complex sector.

After a busy day at the office, Sheila likes to relax, not by putting her feet up in front of the TV, but by going for a 5-mile run with her dogs or going for a ride on her horse, Cerena. Sheila has never been one to stay put: As a cabin crew member with Gulf Air, she visited all manner of exotic and interesting places;  now she prefers to travel by road, going for a spin in her new “baby”, a Mini Cooper S with more than enough horse power!

Zoe at People First SUPPLY CHIAN

Zoe started her career working within the supply chain division of a major food services organisation; she then worked as an internal recruiter for 5 years, before joining People First.  She therefore has the perfect skills set for our recruitment team in People First’s Thames Valley office, providing a prompt, professional and local service which exceeds both clients’ and candidates’ expectations.

Zoe's claim to fame is attending the same school as Staines’ famous Ali G – for real! Zoe is also well known for being a very fussy eater. Zoe doesn’t eat meat, fish, most fruit and vegetables and is not overly keen on milk or bread! In fact her staple diet is a jacket potato, which makes it all the more surprising that she once got food poisoning in the Canary Islands.  She was also once nearly squashed by an elephant in South Africa, so she won’t be venturing far from Staines for a while!

Isabelle at People First SUPPLY CHAIN

Before joining People First, Isabelle worked as an in-house recruiter, as well as for agencies in her native country, la belle France.  She also brings to the role a strong customer services background, as well as a charming accent which makes her both immediately recognisable and unforgettable..

Isabelle believes in a positive attitude and will do almost anything for a dare: Once she even jumped in a fountain fully dressed!  She is also a big fan of value stores and pays regular visits to Poundland, so she never visits her friends empty-handed! Her guilty pleasure is watching Peter Sherlock on Price Drop TV and her ultimate travel dream is to explore Lapland on a dog sled.  A keen foodie, Isabelle loves going to restaurants and her signature dishes are macaroons and tiramisu.
