Our client is an international commodities trading company, based in Central London.
The Role:
As a Food Trader you will have a remit to sell a variety of food products including seafood and processed fruits within Europe. The role also involves sourcing products worldwide. In addition, you would deal with administration relating to trade administration including contracts, commission and shipping documents. You will also Identify potential new areas for business development and ensure the department adheres to EU legislation.
The Person:
A self-starting, graduate calibre trader with a background in sales, ideally foods within a trading company. Contacts within the industry are essential as well as having the ability to deal with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds. A knowledge of Japanese or European languages would be an advantage.
The person must be prepared to travel for business; there is also the possibility of being based in Dusseldorf in the future.
